Colnago Y1Rs – World Champion 

The geometry and sizing of the Y1Rs are the result of continuous feedback between Colnago and the two WorldTour teams UAE Emirates and UAE ADQ, developed to meet the needs of every rider. The overarching goal: maximum speed in flat or hilly races.

The key differences compared to the V4Rs are:

Head tube and seat angle: The Y1Rs features slightly steeper HT and seat tube angles to enable a more forward-oriented, tucked position, optimising both aerodynamics and power transfer.

Reach/Stack ratio: An increased reach/stack ratio (curves shifted to the right in the reach/stack diagram) allows for more aggressive and stretched-out riding positions.

Custom fork: A tailor-made Y1Rs fork for each size ensures an optimal and consistent trail figure across all sizes. The trail is clearly designed for pure race use.

Intuitive handling and steering responsiveness are the defining characteristics of this model.
